  DESCRIPTION:

Apolipoprotein-D는 주로 인간 혈장의 고밀도 지단백질과 관련이 있습니다. Apolipoprotein-D는 atypical apolipoprotein이며, 주요 구조로 볼 때 lipocalin family에 속하는 단백질입니다. Lipocalins은 beta-barrel 3차 구조를 채택하고 small hydrophobic ligands를 운반합니다. Apolipoprotein-D는 cholesterol, progesterone, pregnenolone, bilirubin 및 arachidonic acid과 결합합니다.

Apolipoprotein-D는 spleen, testes 및 brain에서 높은 수준의 발현을 보이는 여러 조직에서 발현되며, 유방암 위험 증가와 관련된 질환인 유방의 총 낭성 질환이 있는 여성의 낭종액에 고농도로 존재합니다. 또한 Apolipoprotein-D는 재생 중인 말초 신경과 알츠하이머병과 같은 신경 퇴행성 질환 환자의 뇌척수액에 축적됩니다.

Apolipoprotein-D는 중추 및 말초 신경계의 유지와 회복에 관여하며, 다중 리간드, 다기능 수송체로서 장기 내에서 한 세포에서 다른 세포로 리간드를 운반하고, 장기 내에서 리간드를 청소하여 혈액으로 운반하거나 순환계에서 조직 내의 특정 세포로 리간드를 운반할 수 있습니다.

SOLUBILITY:

It is recommended to add deionized H2O to a working volume of 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter this product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.

STABILITY:
Store lyophilized protein at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.
